MISSION STATEMENT

The Silver Spur, as a club, has the goal to provide for

its members a facility to ride horses for both pleasure

and competition. This presents a place for adults and

kids alike to enjoy the equine way of life in an

educational, safe, clean and well-maintained facility open

daily to members and to the general public during

scheduled events. The Silver Spur operates on a volunteer

basis, creating an all-ages club integrating the public

into equestrian society.

The Silver Spur Club has been in existence for over 50 Years! Set upon 40 beautiful flat acres located on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Silver Spur is the one of the oldest horse clubs in Western Washington. With the snow capped mountains in the background, the Spur host many horse events and competitions from performance and gaming shows to steer roping and cross country jumping.

The Board of Directors meet the first Wednesday of the month and the General Membership meeting is the second Wednesday of the month at 7P.M. We generally try to have a guest speaker at the General meetings to keep us current on issues pertinent to horsemen
